Las Vegas
I started the trip with the objective of continuing to visit the 7 wonders of the world, visiting the 6th wonder on my list, which is Chichen Itza, in Mexico.
Then I found that the passage through Air Canada the focal point is Toronto and with a little more money I could make one of my dreams which was to travel by dog sled.
I’ve been watching the Iditarod race in Alaska for many years and I’ve always imagined what it would be like. When I was there it wasn’t winter and I couldn’t try it.
Another very famous place is the Yukon in Canada and the center is WhiteHorse.
Then I got into a dilemma as the entry point was Toronto and Whitehorse and on the other side above Vancouver.
I have a habit of not taking the same route there and back, so I saw that I could make a stop in Las Vegas and take the opportunity to see the Grand Canyon, which was also on my list.
See dog sledding here and Cancun and Chichen Itza here
Las Vegas
Whenever Las Vegas is talked about, everyone thinks of games and in fact everything here revolves around it.
But the city is typical of the American psyche. Normal people with their normal lives, go to Vegas to get crazy and do everything that you can’t do in your everyday life.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
It has everything, people who spend day and night inside the casinos, gambling, and drinking.
Parties watered down with drinks, drugs, and general liberation.
There are pool parties, from the most ‘public’ to the most reserved.
Vegas can be anything you want it to be, as long as you have the money to pay.
As I don’t like gambling or drugs, I went to enjoy the more “normal” side of the city, which is where all the main points of the city are located on the Vegas strip.
They made replicas of the main replicas of world’s monuments.
Everything in Vegas is ready for you to enter and never leave, the Shop forum even has a view of the sky inside the Shop.
In Vegas Downtown, the main street is completely covered so you can go from one place to another without really leaving the attractions.
As I was Downtown, I couldn’t miss visiting Rick’s Store from the Paws Stars program.
Grand Canyon
I was there in February and the northern part of the park is closed due to winter, but the southern part (South RIM) was open, it is 450 km from the city
Las Vegas is in the state of Nevada and the Grand Canyon National Park is located in Arizona and encompasses 446 km of the Colorado River and adjacent highlands.
The Grand Canyon is 1.6 km deep and up to 29 km wide.
Bands of colorful rocks reveal millions of years of geological history.
We left at 6:00 am and returned around 9:00 pm.
