Cappadocia is a region of Türkiye with natural and historical beauty. The area is made up of different cities and towns, including Göreme, Ürgüp, Uçhisar and Avanos.

It is unquestionable that Cappadocia has a unique beauty. Its landscape is made up of colorful valleys, interesting formations, known as Fairy Chimneys.

The fairy chimneys, which are the symbol of Cappadocia, are part of the erosive effect; they are conical formations (mushroom-shaped, columnar or pointed) in which the “hats”, that is, the highest part of the formation, is larger than its body.

Volcanic rocks, which are softer than other types of rock, made it possible to build on slopes, create refuges, excavate hundreds of caves, churches, sanctuaries and underground cities-all legacies of ancient people who passed through Cappadocia.

In addition to its natural beauty and UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cappadocia offers a unique experience to visitors.

Hot air balloon rides provide spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding rock formations and stunning scenery.
