Dolomitas - Alta via 1
Day 9 - Sonino al Coldai (2132 meters) to Vazzoler refuge (1714 meters)
Trail 560 goes to the Vazzoler.
The day started with a beautiful walk to Forcella Codai and the lake of the same name.
Right after the lake it was already possible to perceive that it would be an up and down between landslides and bordering the Civetta mountain and the immense descent to the valley
Luckily, we stayed at the top admiring the valley below.
Our whole day was spent skirting Mount Civetta.
We leave our trail to go to the Tissi refuge (2250m).
Here we had one of the best views on the trail. It is possible to see where we started the trail and the entire walk to get here.
After lunch we continue on a gentle descent around Mount Civetta, passing through pastures and forests until we skirt the massif.

Day 10 - Vazzoler refuge (1714 meters) to Carestiato refuge (1839 meters).
The day starts going down trail 555 which is a zigzag road until we drop to 1400 m and then we leave for trail 554 going up through a forest to Forcella del Camp (1933 m).
We spent the day skirting the massif to the Carestiato refuge at the other end.
